Hey Reader,

Recruitment is in the Air!

We have loved seeing all of our active membership recruit across their campuses this fall semester. The unique themes are creative and showcase what it is like to be a member of org. Keep up the great work!

Now that we are back in the full swing of things with school in session, make sure to take time for yourself! With classes, homework, recruitment, new member education and so much more back in your everyday life, things can be overwhelming. Remember to lean on your sisters and enjoy the little moments as much as possible. Feel free to reach out to the board for support too - we are cheering you on! (I personally am very excited to see everyone's new classes.) KTBFTR

Proud Moment

Over the past couple of years that Nicole H. has worked with KAI Chapter, the sisters have been committed to having the highest GPA on their campus. They started with multiple sisters on academic probation and focused on tailoring their study hours to meet the different needs of those requiring additional academic support. This semester, they not only started with no sister on academic probation, but they have also embraced completing their study hours with pride. We are so proud of them for this achievement! They set a goal, refocused their efforts, and took the steps needed to achieve it.

Sisterhood Spark

Did you know that Reese's Peanut Butter Cups are the most sold candy during Halloween? Whether you prefer a sweet treat or something more sour, we hope you're celebrating October in a fun, safe, and scare-tastic way with your sisters!

Sister of the Month

This month we celebrate Dezanae Boston-Bernier! Dezanae, a Kappa Upsilon alumnae, welcomed UMass Lowell's class of 2030 as their Convocation Keynote Speaker last month.
“College is the time when you open your own doors. There are so many opportunities this university has to offer, whether you work on campus, join a club or take an interesting class. And every door, at minimum, is a chance for self-discovery."
